Trans* Pride 2015
Members of the Organizing committee Trans* Pride Belgrade spoke yesterday, on the 8th of September 2015, at the Government of the Republic of Serbia with Minister in charge for European integration Jadranka Joksimović.
Real challenges members of trans* community are everyday facing were discussed during the meeting, along with the legal gap they have been put which represents one of the basic obstacles for claiming and exercising Constitutionally guaranteed rights.
ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF TRANS* PRIDE BELGRADE HELD MET WITH THE DELEGATION OF THE EUROPEAN UNION IN SERBIA
Members of the Organizing committee of Trans* Pride Belgrade held yesterday, on 20th of August 2015, a meeting with representatives of EU Delegation in Serbia. An occasion with this meeting was Trans* Pride Belgrade, to be held on 20th of September 2015, and the overall state and condition of trans* persons’ human rights in Serbia.
Inadequate legal framework of the Republic of Serbia supposed to protect members of trans* community was discussed during the meeting. The problem of absolute lack of legal recognition of trans* persons, having as a consequence impossibility of claiming constitutionally guaranteed rights, was stressed out.
Members of Organizing Committee of Trans* Pride Belgrade met yesterday, on 17th of August 2015, with the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the Trans* Pride Belgrade gathering, to be held on 20th of September.

Citizen Association "Egal" and Gay Lesbian Info Center (GLIC) organize Trans* Pride, a standing gathering which will be held on 20th of September 2015 in the Pioneer park, beginning at 11 am.
Whit this assembly we are stressing out the alarmingly bad situation of trans* community in Serbia and concrete challenges trans* persons are facing on everyday basis. We are also expressing our disagreement and displeasure with present work of Belgrade Pride.
